Job Title : Senior Application Engineer
Experience : 2 - 7 Years
Desired : 5 to 7 years experience with Object Oriented Design and Development
Current (4+ years) hands-on experience developing commercial software using Java/J2EE
Development experience with J2EE Technologies like JSP, Servlets, Struts, JavaScript, EJB & JMS, Web Services
Effectivly involved in Analyzing Functional requirements, HLD & LLD architectural/features of a product
Experience in database systems, SQL and data modeling principles
Experience with commercial databases, such as Oracle and SQL Server
Proven ability to Debug / Review code developed by others
Experience in packaging & deploying on J2EE servers (Weblogic or Websphere or Oracle OC4J / JBoss ) on Unix (Solaris, HPUX) or Windows
Skills : Spring framework and Hibernate
Java performance turning experience a plus.
Familiar with various enterprise software design patterns (J2EE / GOF)
Exposure to any of these enterprise level applications (Siebel, PSFT, SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle Apps) a definite plus!
Experience with performance tools such as Load Runner and Borland OptimzeIT Servertrace
Expertise in diagnosis and resolution of customer problems
Ability to mentor junior software developers
Strong experience with full software product release cycles
Thoroughness to produce meaningful documentation
Business pressure sensitivity
